Hampshire COP26 Summit

On Monday 29th November at 7pm Suella will be hosting a virtual Hampshire-wide COP26 Summit. The event will consist of three panels covering the following topics: the importance of Net Zero and how it will be achieved, the move towards sustainable travel, and action in Hampshire to combat climate change.

The summit will begin with a keynote speech from Environment Minister, Rebecca Pow MP followed by panel discussions with a wide range of distinguished local speakers including Hampshire County Council, South Western Railways, Southern Water, Community Energy South and many more. Basingstoke MP Maria Miller and Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage will also be speaking.

In addition to providing a platform for the ever-important discussion on climate change, Hampshire residents in attendance will also be given the opportunity to raise their questions with the panels.
