Helping you

The aim that my team and I have is to assist you in the best way possible.

There are many local services which provide valuable practical assistance. These include:

Mobility Services

Dial-a-Ride: 01329 223151, dar@actionfareham.org.uk, 8.30am- 3.30pm

This service helps people who have difficulty using the main bus service in Fareham, for shopping or visiting. Wheelchair users are welcome and the fares are similar to bus fares. Whilst it is not for Hospital or Clinic appointments, Dial-a Ride can help in many other ways.

Mobility Scooter: 01329 282929

If you need help to get around the town centre you may be able to take you own scooter or you can use the ShopMobility Centre, run by Community Action Fareham. They will bring a mobility scooter or power-chair to meet you at the bus.

Community Transport: 01329 223152

This is a charitable service that provides transport for community groups and charitable organisations. You need to be a member of Community Action Fareham (free membership).

CommuniCare: 07002 456 689

CommuniCare can arrange car transport for Senior Citizens (but not in wheelchairs) to medical appointments and to local shopping areas. Drivers will pick up clients from their home, take them to their appointment, wait, and then take them home again. A nominal charge is made.
