It was great to welcome Year 11 students from Cowplain School, Henry Cort Community College, Boundary Oak and Meon Cross schools to my annual Universities Conference, held at Fareham College on Friday.
I am very grateful to Admissions Tutors and current undergraduate students from Southampton, Exeter and Cambridge Universities who spoke to local students about next steps, the admissions process, funding and university life and I was pleased to have Cllr Paul Whittle and Deputy Mayor Cllr Tina Ellis support the event.
