It was very useful to meet local residents on Old Turnpike in Fareham who are concerned about the speeding cars and ‘Boy Racers’ who are driving at 70mph and posing a real danger on the road.

I will urge Hampshire County Council to look again at this road to implement some road safety measures.

Hampshire Police also request that complaints be made to the police about racing cars, citing ‘Operation Chromium’ so that incidents can be logged and evidence of the problem can be recorded. Dangerous driving incidents can be reported online here.

There is also a petition going around residents on Old Turnpike Road; if you would like more information about this, please get in touch.
