Great to see so many people at my Community Safety Public Meeting in Wallington.
I hosted this event to give our local community a chance to learn more about crime and safety in Fareham and Waterlooville.
Very good to hear from Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones, Chief Inspector Marcus Kennedy and Rob Kearley from Fareham Police and Cllr Joanne Burton from Fareham Borough Council.
Good to discuss progress being made locally of tackling crime, more police and open stations.
Also useful to hear about ongoing issues like boy racers, speeding cars, fly-tipping and vaping stores.
This event was a great opportunity for our local community to engage with those directly responsible for keeping us safe. I look forward to hosting more meetings like this in the future.
