About Suella

Suella is very proud to be the Reform UK Member of Parliament for Fareham and Waterlooville.​ She was first elected as the MP for Fareham in 2015 and was subsequently re-elected in 2017 and 2019.

 

In 2024, the boundaries for the constituency changed, and Suella was re-elected for the new seat of Fareham and Waterlooville. She has consistently championed policies that promote free speech, support hard work and supported and secure borders.

From 2018 to 2020, she served as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union, playing a role in delivering the UK’s departure from the European Union.

She was appointed Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland in 2020, serving as the Government’s chief legal adviser. In this role, she provided legal counsel to the Government

From 2022-2023 Suella served as Home Secretary, one of the great offices of state, leading work on immigration reform, policing, crime reduction, and national security. She focused on strengthening border controls, supporting law enforcement, and enhancing public safety for the British people

As MP for Fareham and Waterlooville, Suella works closely with local residents, businesses, schools, and community organisations. She regularly holds surgeries, meets with local groups, and campaigns on issues important to the constituency, including infrastructure improvements, healthcare provision, education, andkeeping local people safe.

Suella is married with two children and lives locally in Hampshire. She remains committed to public service and to representing the interests of her constituents of Fareham and Waterlooville in Parliament.
