Help make Henry Cort a SEND School!
13th June 2026
Hampshire County Council have decided to relocate Henry Cort Community College to Whiteley. I opposed this decision at the time, but it has been made.
Now, HCC plans to convert the Henry Cort site into a secure unit for 18 young people.
I believe this is wrong.
I’m campaigning to urge HCC to make Henry Cort a Special Education Needs Centre of Excellence. I’ve met too many families struggling to get an assessment or an education for their children. The system lacks capacity and Henry Cort would be the ideal site to provide extra resource.
This is not party political. I’m working with Fareham Borough Councillor Kerry Stubbs, Hampshire County Councillor Richard Harris and local SEND campaigner Steve Higgins. If you support the campaign sign the petition at https://www.suellabraverman.co.uk/about-5-5
Let’s work together to make Henry Cort a Special Education Needs School.
Commemorating the heroics of D-Day at Southwick
6th June 2026
It may have been wet, windy and cold, but that did not dampen spirits at Southwick’s D-Day Revival today.
Incredibly honoured to join everyone to mark the heroism at the home of Operation Overlord in Southwick.
Thank you to Southwick Revival Committee led by the fantastic Martin Bazeley and all the volunteers who made this year’s event fantastic.

Appealing for justice for Henry Nowak
2nd June 2026
Henry Nowak’s murder is a tragedy but we still don’t have justice for Henry yet.
That’s why I wrote to the Attorney General today requesting that Digwa’s sentence be referred to the Court of Appeal because it is unduly lenient.
As a former Attorney General, the minimum term handed down should have been longer than 21 years given the significant aggravating factors.
I will keep fighting to end the abhorrent two-tier system in our police service.

Tackling Issues with Local Home Builders
22nd May 2026
I’ve been getting more and more residents complaining about house builders.
Whilst most of the new homes being built are good quality there have been some real problems for local residents.
I can’t promise justice every time but I’ll do all I can to fight your corner against bad construction companies.

Fareham and Waterlooville votes Reform UK!
8th May 2026
What a seismic moment this is for British politics!
Thank you to the many thousands of people who voted yesterday in a very high-turnout election throughout Hampshire.
We had an amazing result with Reform winning in Fareham & Waterlooville.
In some wards, Reform candidates won with over 50% of the vote (congrats to Jason Gillen, Kev Parsons, Gwen Robinson, Kerry Stubbs and Richard Harris and Paul Woolley, our Reform councillors!)
Throughout Hampshire, Reform has gained many new county councillors, with the Conservative vote collapsing and now being under No Overall Control.
Voting Conservative is now a wasted vote. If you want real change, vote Reform UK.

Nigel Farage in Waterlooville!
3rd May 2026
What a great morning and honour to welcome Nigel Farage to Waterlooville- and have a pint at The Heroes Pub afterwards!
Needless to say- he was mobbed!
We have a fantastic team of Reform candidates standing in Fareham, Havant, Winchester and Hampshire: all hard-working, dedicated and experienced people who want change.
Vote Reform on May 7th to Get Starmer Out!

Happy St George’s Day!
23rd April 2026
Patriotic celebrations in Gosport!

Standing up for Women's Safety
22nd April 2026
I recently met with the Darlington nurses and Jennifer Melle in Parliament.
They were harassed, victimised and treated appallingly simply for wanting to protect single sex spaces for biological women in the NHS.
I have written to the Health Secretary urging him to issue guidance to the NHS that makes clear that biological sex should be upheld as set out in the Supreme Court case and that transwomen (ie men) should be treated in separate wards to biological women.

London Road HMO
13th April 2026
I’m very concerned by the decision of the Labour‑Lib Dem‑Green‑run Havant Borough Council to approve a 12-bed HMO planning application in Waterlooville. It has not been ruled out that this could be used for asylum seekers, and it’s another example of local politicians putting ideology before the interests of residents.
They should never have approved it, and local people have every right to feel frustrated and ignored.
Well done and thank you to Reform UK Councillor Gwen Robinson for standing up for our community and opposing this damaging proposal. Gwen represents exactly what local politics should be about: integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to putting residents first.
On May 7th, you have the chance to send a clear message that enough is enough. It’s time to bring back common sense, competence, and courage to Havant Borough Council.
Vote Reform to put local people, not party politics, back in charge!

Happy Easter!
5th April 2026
We are so lucky to have some truly beautiful churches here in Fareham and Waterlooville, places of peace, reflection, and community.
Easter is always a special time to come together with family and friends, to celebrate hope, renewal, and faith. It’s also a reminder of our country’s deep Christian roots with traditions that have shaped our values, guided our institutions, and given us a shared sense of purpose for centuries.
I’m proud that Britain is a Christian country and that our churches continue to play such a vital role in local life, bringing people together, supporting those in need, and keeping faith alive for generations to come.
I Hope you all had a wonderful Easter surrounded by loved ones!

Hopscotch in Fareham!
2nd April 2026
Very excited that Hopscotch Day Nurseries will be opening a new nursery in Fareham at the old Ashcroft Arts Centre later this year.
I’m pleased to have supported this initiative last year and to have worked with Hampshire County Council and the team to help move this forward.
This will be a great community asset!

Fix the potholes!
30th March 2026
I’ll keep urging Hampshire County Council to fix the potholes.
Several residents have complained to me about the state of roads in different parts of Fareham & Waterlooville, like London Road in Waterlooville and Wynton Way in Fareham where I saw loads recently.
You pay your Council Tax and deserve better!

Scrap the Family Farm Tax
27th March 2026
Good meeting today at Rookesbury Park with the Country Land and Business Association and local farmers from Fareham and Waterlooville. It was a valuable opportunity to listen to those who know our countryside best and understand the realities of running farms and rural businesses day to day.
We spoke about the challenges facing British farming from rising costs and regulation to the need for long‑term investment and sustainable food production. Our farmers work tirelessly to feed the nation, care for the land, and support local jobs, and their contributions deserve both recognition and support.
I’ll continue working with local landowners and the CLA to champion rural communities, protect our farmland, and ensure British agriculture remains at the heart of a strong, self‑reliant nation.

Ending DEI at the FA
24th March 2026
The Football Association wants to mandate that 1 in 4 football coaches come from a Black, Asian or other minority background.
As the saying in football goes, this is utter woke nonsense. The game’s gone.
Fans don’t care what the coach looks like. They just want the best person for the job, based on merit alone. That’s what gets results.
Not tokenism.
I’ve written to the FA urging a rethink. I’m happy to help them draw up a fairer policy.
Let’s kick racism out of football, including anti-white racism.

Visiting Golders Green
23rd March 2026
This evening I visited Golders Green following the disgraceful attack on the Jewish community last night.
This is not who we are as a country. Britain stands for law, order, and respect and it is utterly unacceptable that British Jews are being targeted on our streets. For too long, we’ve seen weak words and hand‑wringing from those in power, while antisemitism has been allowed to fester.
The time for words is over. We need real action from the Government to protect our communities and reassert British values. That means proscribing the IRGC, a dangerous, extremist organisation that spreads terror and hatred well beyond Iran’s borders. It means banning the Muslim Brotherhood, which fuels division and imports Islamist ideology into our towns and cities, and it means ending the so‑called “hate marches” that have turned our streets into platforms for antisemitism and extremism under the guise of protest.

Help Fareham Boxing Club!
20th March 2026
Can you help Fareham Amateur Boxing Club?
We have an amazing community boxing club which needs a permanent home.
Do you own or know of an empty shop unit, warehouse or space that the club could use to support young and old members of the community to keep fit through boxing?
If so, email me at suella.braverman.mp@parliament.uk.

Visit to QA Hospital
6th March 2026
Very good meetings with local residents at my surgery at Portchester Community Centre this month.
I’m very concerned to hear homeowners complain about poor service from house builders such as Vistry and Abri- new build homes which have been defective but not repaired by the developers. I’m calling on these companies to fix the defects and stop failing local residents.

With Nigel in Southwick!
11th March 2026
Great to welcome Nigel Farage to the famous Golden Lion Pub in Southwick to meet some of our local Reform UK team in Fareham and Waterlooville. Reform UK Fareham and Waterlooville!
A great couple of days kicking off our Local Elections Tour in Hampshire.

March MP Surgery
