Suella supports British farms
I’m proud to stand with our farmers here in Hampshire and across the country. They work incredibly hard to feed the nation, protect our countryside, and keep our rural economy strong. British farming is part of who we are, and it deserves respect, support, and fair treatment from Government.
In recent meetings with local NFU representatives and farmers, I’ve heard first‑hand about the challenges they face. Our family farms are the backbone of Britain, and they shouldn’t be penalised with unfair taxes or weighed down by unnecessary red tape. I’m calling for the family farm tax to be scrapped so that farmers can focus on what they do best: producing world-class food and caring for the land.
I’ll keep standing up for farmers and backing the NFU’s work here in Hampshire and nationwide. If we want a secure, self‑reliant country, we must provide our farmers the freedom and support they need to thrive.
