Thank you to the many local residents who have signed my petition calling for a Banking Hub in Portchester, because of your support, I’m pleased to share that we’ve now triggered a formal review by Cash Access UK to assess Portchester as a viable site.

Far too many bank branches have closed their doors in recent years, leaving loyal customers and small businesses without the personal service they rely on. It’s not acceptable that older residents are being forced to travel miles just to access cash or speak to a real person. A Banking Hub would restore fairness, independence, and basic common sense to local banking, giving everyone in Portchester the access and choice they deserve.

 

A local Banking Hub would bring life back to our town centre and strengthen our sense of community pride. Let’s keep the momentum going. Together we can show the banks and the regulators that Portchester matters and that when we work together we get results.
