Supporting Rowans

I’m incredibly proud to have helped secure extra funding for Rowans Hospice. Rowans offers first‑class palliative care delivered with compassion, dignity, and humanity. Its staff and volunteers embody the very best of our community spirit, supporting people through the most difficult moments of their lives with warmth and dedication.

Over recent years, I’ve campaigned hard for additional funding to make sure hospices like Rowans can continue providing world‑class end‑of‑life care. I was delighted when that campaign succeeded. This extra support will help relieve financial pressures and ensure more patients and families benefit from the comfort, expertise, and compassion the Hospice provides.

Our work doesn’t stop here. I will keep standing up for Rowans Hospice and for sustainable funding for hospice care nationwide. We must value those who care for others, the nurses, carers, volunteers, and families who show extraordinary strength every day.
