Detain and Deport
Defending our borders and standing up for Britain
I’m proud to have led a successful campaign that stopped the Home Office and Labour‑run Havant Borough Council from using London Road in Waterlooville to house illegal migrants. It was a clear win for our community and with over 10,000 people signing my petition it was a signal that local people will not be sidelined or ignored by weak politicians in Westminster who refuse to get a grip on immigration.
I listened to residents, stood firm, and made sure common sense prevailed.
This fight was never just about one site. It’s about what kind of country we want to be. Britain is a proud nation with a long history of independence, compassion, and the rule of law. We’ve always opened our doors to those in genuine need, refugees fleeing war or persecution, but that generosity must never be abused.
Illegal migration undermines our borders, strains our public services, and erodes trust in the fairness of our system. It’s not fair on taxpayers, and it’s not fair on those who come here legally.
When I was Home Secretary, I made it clear that we needed a strong deterrent to stop the illegal crossings. That’s why I fought for the Rwanda plan that was firm, lawful, and fair. I believed the only way to end the small boats crisis was to show that illegal entry to Britain would never lead to settlement here.
But my efforts were blocked by Rishi Sunak, other weak Conservative colleagues, and an opportunistic Labour Party more interested in virtue signalling than defending our borders. Their refusal to act decisively has left Britain vulnerable, frustrated, and demanding change.
I believe in nationhood, in the idea that our laws, our borders, and our culture are worth defending. This country belongs to the British people, and its sovereignty must never be traded away out of fear or political timidity.
It’s time for courage: we must detain and deport all illegal migrants swiftly and unapologetically. That’s not cruelty but it’s fairness, responsibility, and respect for the rule of law.
Britain deserves leaders who will protect our borders, restore order, and put our national interest first. I will continue to fight for that future, proud of our country, proud of our people, and proud of the values that make Britain strong.
