On Friday 19th April, Suella Braverman MP convened her annual Fareham Health Summit. Constituents gathered at Fareham Leisure Centre to listen to and share their concerns with a panel of senior representatives from Fareham healthcare providers.
Suella was delighted to learn that Cams Hill School in Fareham was successful with their bid to the Government’s Condition Improvement Fund (CIF). Cams Hill will soon be receiving funding from the Department for Education to fund their flat roofing replacement project.
Last November, the Conservative Government announced an extra £8.3 billion to improve local roads across England, enough to resurface over 5,000 miles of road, made possible by reallocated HS2 funding.
Last Friday, debating teams from Meoncross School, Boundary Oak and Portchester Community School travelled to Fareham College to take part in Suella’s annual ‘Fareham Schools Debating Competition’.
Every child deserves the chance to succeed in life, which is why the Conservative Government has increased the high-needs budget by over 60 per cent since 2019-2020 to over £10.5 billion in 2024-25.
