Apprentices and industry experts joined politicians in Westminster this week at a reception in Parliament.

The reception was held in the Terrace Pavilion of the House of and was attended my MPs, Ministers and industry representatives – including an apprentices from Fareham.

I have welcomed a new push from Government to support the country’s veterans.

Monthly surgery

I met with a number of constituents for my monthly surgery, held at Tesco in Fareham, where we discussed issues affecting them.

People were keen to discuss issues affecting them personally, as well issues in the area, such as roads and school places.

New funding to support the silent victims of alcohol abuse

I have welcomed a move by the Government to identify and support children living with alcohol dependent parents.

New plans announced today by Health & Social Care Secretary Jeremy Hunt will aim to identify children at risk more quickly and provide swift support and guidance.
