It was very useful to meet with Fareham’s Chief Inspector Chris Spellerberg at Whiteley Community Centre and hear that he is acting upon the local crime matters that you raised with me in my recent survey. These included: e-scooters in Portchester, drug dealing in Fareham town centre and noisy ‘car meets’ in Warsash and Segensworth.

The police are taking action on all of these issues and more and it was good to hear that overall, in the last year, crime has fallen in Fareham whilst the number of police officers in Fareham has increased considerably. This is thanks to the great work of our Donna Jones - Police Commissioner Hampshire & IOW.
